Love welding? Great with people? Ready to get off the tools and into a hands-on field role?

We’re a 55 year old family-owned welding supply business based in Sydney, and we’re looking for a Welding Products Field Specialist to take our brands on the road across Victoria.

This is not your standard sales rep role. Your main game is demonstrating welding machines, consumables and accessories — in branches, on customer sites, at trade days and during product trials. You’ll show customers how our gear performs, train teams, support sales, and help drive growth across the VIC territory.

What you’ll be doing

• Run hands-on demonstrations of welding machines, consumables and related products
• Conduct on-site trials, machine setups and technical support
• Train distributor staff, branch teams and sales reps
• Support trade days, product launches and in-store activations
• Work alongside wholesale partners and end users to influence purchasing decisions
• Help grow the VIC territory through strong relationships, technical know-how and commercial focus
• Provide market feedback, competitor insights and activity reporting

What you’ll bring

• Solid practical knowledge of MIG, TIG and Stick welding
• Confidence demonstrating welding equipment in real-world environments
• Strong people skills and the ability to build trust quickly
• Experience in welding, fabrication, industrial sales or technical support
• A self-driven attitude and willingness to travel across Victoria, including some overnight stays
